We
loved everything! The apartment was the nicest we have ever stayed in
– easily beating any hotel or holiday rental hands down. Having the
freedom of the house and being able to use the basement for a good
fire was a wonderful and unexpected opportunity which we both loved.
The location was also superb, being close to the town centre and with
a lovely view from the window.
I don't think you
ever expect to get
'looked after' when you rent a self-catering apartment but on this
occasion we felt we really were. Hannah is a lovely, genuine, honest
person who simply couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast supplies
were a lovely, and much appreciated, touch and we couldn't have been
made to feel more welcome in such a 'warm' home. We will definitely
return!

artwork (Jasper, our 1 yr old, likes it too! He keeps pointing at them
:-) ) Plenty of essentials in the fridge and cupboard made things much
easier. Quiet location but centre readily accessible. Very
comfortable apartment and a very friendly, helpful host!

When I first stepped into your beautiful vaulted hallway, decorated
with your paintings, I knew that I had arrived somewhere special. The
well appointed apartment in which I stayed, decorated with real flair,
was the perfect introduction to the magical town of Cesky Krumlov and
the ideal base for our visit.
Spacious, character, comfortable, ideal location, very helpful hosts,
generous to give access to garden, wel l stocked with food etc
for breakfast. Thank you for your hospitality, we have all had a lovely
time and we will definitely recommend you to others.
Super location! The flat is very clean, quiet and spacious. It was good
to have a parking space. We enjoyed the artwork, made us feel at home.
The bed was great, and it was good to have the use of the washing
machine and iron. The flat is very
well equipped.
Your flat is furnished wonderfully. I particularly liked the decor,
especially the welcoming flowers. And the large towels! The goodies in
the fridge. The pantry supplies. The soaps and shower gel. The
umbrella and slippers - you have thought of everything! We LOVED the
downstairs lounge, thank you for your invitation to part of your home.
It was great! Had everything that could be needed. Liked: bathroom,
view, gifts in fridge, individuality. Disliked: Nope!
Athanor House offers two flats for
rent to visitors - a large luxury
flat (though not at a luxury price) and a small studio flat. They come
with a lovely garden complete with apple tree and views of the
castle. The
house is central, close to the restaurants and attractions. Hannah, the
owner of the house, lived for many years in London, speaks perfect
English and was able to cater for our needs (including real English
teabags!).
